February 2nd 2012- Last month I shot a short film with Iranian director Kaveh Ghahremany. Our film, "All My Roots", has been submitted to the Farhang Film Festival held at LACMA! Check our film out here!

Great news! I booked the role of Tamera in the new webseries, "Candid Tamera", directed by Nicholas Gassaway and produced by Marcelle Kutkauskaite! "Candid Tamera" is an interactive web series about a young woman who can't make the right decisions in her love life. After choosing the wrong guy too many times, Tamera enlists the help of an online audience to help her date...
October 18th 2009-
I attended a great workshop with the head of casting ABC Family, Bridgette Glover White, at ActorsWest. She oversees casting on Greek, 10 Things I Hate About You, Secret Life of the American Teenager, Lincoln Heights and two new ABC family pilots, so I was very glad to be able to get time and feedback from someone as busy as her!

June 13th 2011- Not exactly a career move, but I was a contestant on the Price Is RIght and it aired today! "Silvana Gargione, come on DOWWWNNN" -I now am a proud owner a year's supply of coffee and a carpet. This might count as the most fun I've ever had for free.

March 26th 2011- Was casted by Venice West Productions as the narrator in "Emotional ABCs", an educational video for children about emotional literacy. After reading the script, I also recommend this DVD for unemotional grown men. :)

Booked a role in the independent film, 'Big True', written and directed by Eric Giancoli, and shot today in a cafe on Melrose. Really funny original script based on the classic Cyrano De Bergerac tale, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product!

For the next three weeks I will be performing on Thursday nights in" Marco...Polo!" on iO West's Mainstage. This is the Advanced Harold Grad Showcase, and I am very proud of what we've done over the last year. Please pleeeease come support us as we finish our iO West training program! Busy improv week! Come see me perform on iO's Mainstage in"The Lottery" (11pm) this Wednesday, or in "Duck, Duck, Goose!" (8pm) AND "Happy Accident(s)" (9pm) this Saturday on iO's Loft stage. Wednesday's show is $5 and 21+, and Saturday's shows are free and all ages!

I was cast as 'rejected hot girl' (life imitates art? I think so!) in the music video parody "Guys Night Out", directed by Michael Kurland. We shot Sunday and had a lot of fun, stay tuned for the video!
